B.M. is an Israeli Jewish citizen and one of the voices<\/a> che in questi mesi di genocidio \u00e8 emersa pi\u00f9 chiara e nitida contro la politica israeliana, denunciando spesso quanto essa sia radicata nella cultura nazionale sionista e quanto sia diffusa nella societ\u00e0 israeliana. Partiamo dalla stretta attualit\u00e0. La rottura del cessate il fuoco e l’inizio del genocidio militare pienamente operativo contro i palestinesi sia a Gaza che in Cisgiordania sembrano ormai completamente fuori controllo. Il governo Netanyahu sembra aver abbracciato la volont\u00e0 di “finire il lavoro”, come ripetutamente affermato.  Allo stesso tempo, almeno una parte della societ\u00e0 israeliana sembra essere esausta e stanca della situazione prodotta dal governo dopo il 7 ottobre e per il totale disinteresse per la sorte degli ostaggi. Ci sono state anche rare manifestazioni di esplicita solidariet\u00e0 con il popolo palestinese. Potresti ripercorrere questa fase degli eventi?<\/strong>

Al punto in cui siamo trovo davvero difficile credere, nonostante il crescente malcontento di molti israeliani, che la pressione interna in Israele possa davvero fermare la campagna di sterminio. Il numero di israeliani che mostrano una qualche empatia nei confronti dei palestinesi di Gaza \u00e8 ancora del tutto trascurabile. La parte della popolazione israeliana che cerca di “porre fine alla guerra”, per lo pi\u00f9 solo per gli ostaggi, ovviamente, parla molto e organizza grandi manifestazioni, ma si oppone con forza all’invito a rifiutare il servizio militare. Quindi, in pratica, quasi tutto il presunto campo “contro la guerra” sostiene attivamente la continuazione del genocidio partecipandovi fisicamente e opponendosi a qualsiasi azione significativa.
I still hold the view that only external pressure, perhaps exacerbated by internal chaos, can stop the genocide. I still have a small hope that diplomatic and economic pressure, which would render Israel a Pariah state<\/em> isolated, could lead to a change, but with the passage of time, it unfortunately seems increasingly likely that only military\/paramilitary action can bring about significant change. The way Israel and the United States are currently cooperating makes me fear that such military action might only be undertaken as part of a large-scale regional or global confrontation, which we might be heading towards.

Pensa che ci sia la possibilit\u00e0 che gli israeliani si liberino dell’attuale governo in qualche modo? Come militante anti-sionista, denunci spesso il fatto che la societ\u00e0 israeliana sionista \u00e8 corrotta dal sionismo. Vedi qualche segno di cambiamento che potrebbe manifestarsi in questa situazione? Minoranze coraggiose che si ribellano, rivolte o ribellioni dissidenti?<\/strong>

Non credo che gli israeliani si libereranno dell’attuale governo. Sembra che manchi il coraggio di compiere i passi radicali e militanti necessari per rovesciare il governo. Ma anche se ci riuscissero, non nutro alcuna speranza verso un governo alternativo. Al momento la societ\u00e0 israeliana \u00e8 malata in modo irreparabile e credo che ci vorrebbe un enorme processo di demolizione e ricostruzione per vedere emergere una societ\u00e0 migliore dall’altra parte di questo incubo distopico a cui stiamo assistendo in questo momento. Questo processo, per\u00f2, potrebbe iniziare solo quando Israele raggiunger\u00e0 un punto di svolta e croller\u00e0: un trauma collettivo schiacciante che costringerebbe al cambiamento.
Regarding the issue of civil war, which Israelis have been talking about incessantly for decades \u2013 even though we are closer than ever to this scenario \u2013 I have difficulty believing that there could ever be a real civil war within Israeli Jewish society. The so-called \u201cliberal left,\u201d which has relentlessly warned about \u201cfratricidal war,\u201d does not seem to have the courage to take any militant action. However, I do see a scenario where Israeli Jews take their extermination campaign to the next stage and force Palestinian citizens of Israel into a civil war.

During these difficult months, you have finally decided to leave the country and move abroad. It seems that many Israelis are doing the same at the moment. What do you think of this sort of new spontaneous diaspora, this time from Israel?
<\/strong>
Non \u00e8 sorprendente. Negli ultimi decenni – mentre gli israeliani continuano a dire quanto amano il loro Paese e che “non hanno un’altra terra” – l’acquisizione della doppia cittadinanza, di un secondo passaporto, \u00e8 diventata una sorta di “sogno israeliano” tra un ampio segmento della popolazione, costituito soprattutto, ma non esclusivamente, dai cosiddetti “liberali” israeliani. Penso che ne vedremo ancora di pi\u00f9 man mano che la situazione continuer\u00e0 a deteriorarsi. Alla fine, quando la Palestina sar\u00e0 finalmente liberata, credo che molti israeliani si rifiuteranno di accettare la perdita dei loro privilegi e preferiranno emigrare piuttosto che vivere alla pari con i palestinesi. Quando parlo di uguaglianza, ovviamente, intendo la restituzione della terra, i risarcimenti, la ridistribuzione delle propriet\u00e0 eccetera, non solo l’uguaglianza politica.

Geopolitical situations are influenced by a wide range of factors, including political decisions, economic conditions, social dynamics, and international relations.\n\nTherefore, I cannot offer predictions about what will happen in Israel in the near future.<\/strong>

I've spoken a lot about this \u201cnational suicide\u201d since the genocide first began, and even before. I think Israel has embarked on a war of annihilation, armed with only a double-edged sword. This genocide has definitively doomed Israel. It has just passed the point of no return. I have no idea what it will look like, nor how many people and countries will be sacrificed in the attempt to avoid it, but I am certain that Israel is at its end. Twenty-two years ago, I told my father that Israel would not make it to its hundredth \u201cIndependence Day\u201d (it's now 77). I remain convinced of this.

My journey to anti-Zionism was quite unique, actually. I\u2019m pretty much born an anarchist. I\u2019ve rebelled against any authority since I was 0 years old. When I was 13 or 14, I discovered punk music, I got into the punk scene and I realised it was so much more than just music. There was a strong political consciousness in the scene, with a lot of anarchist and pro-Palestinian activists. Some of the more influential bands were radical anarchist anti-Zionist groups, along with politically-oriented fanzines and whatnot. For the first time in my life, I was exposed to the actual reality, beyond the Zionist narrative that I was raised with. By the age of 15, I had already been beaten up by cops, arrested at protests, was playing in a band with a song titled \u201cI Hate Israel\u201d, and had declared that I would refuse military service. Once I saw the reality for what it was, I never looked back.
The local punk scene, however, isn't like that anymore, unfortunately.

Riesci mai a immaginare un futuro in cui la Palestina possa essere libera e tutti possano vivere in pace insieme? Un paese unico per ebrei, musulmani, cristiani e tutti? Come pensi che si dovrebbe chiamare questo Paese? I can certainly imagine that, and I believe we'll get there one day. At least those of us who survive what happens before then. There's no need to name the country, it already has one: Palestine. I'm not sure what a \u201cnon-Zionist Israel\u201d is. The idea of a territory where Jews have more rights than others seems intrinsically discriminatory to me, and such a territory cannot and should not exist in the long run.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
