Sacerdote dell’anarco-capitalismo, convinto libertario, cultore di dottrine esoteriche ossessionato dalla figura dell’Anticristo – che per lui oggi sarebbe incarnata dall’attivista Greta Thunberg -, Peter Thiel, “l’anima nera della Silicon Valley” – come viene definito dal giornalista Luca Ciarrocca nel suo libro uscito per Fuoriscena -, è tornato agli onori delle cronache, dopo la pubblicazione degli Esptein files, proprio per i suoi legami con il finanziere pedofilo (as the New York Times revealed, nel 2015 e nel 2016, Epstein ha investito 40 milioni di dollari in due fondi gestiti da Valar Ventures, una società di New York co-fondata da Thiel). Maggiore attenzione mediatica meriterebbero, tuttavia, anche le controverse attività di Palantir Technologies, il colosso operante nel settore della data intelligence founded by venture capitalist Born in Germany and naturalised as a United States citizen.
Palantir e Israele: l’IA al servizio della War

The company’s CEO, Alex Karp, has publicly stated that supporting Israel represents a civic duty. But the collaboration between Israel and Palantir continues even now, during the alleged phase of the ceasefire.
La privatizzazione degli aiuti umanitari a Gaza e il ruolo di Palantir

Oltre al colosso fondato da Thiel, anche contractor militari statunitensi stanno espandendo il loro raggio d’azione nella Striscia. The aims of private actors in the humanitarian aid sector in Gaza, on the other hand, are yet another piece in a broader dynamic that is transforming the Strip into a veritable testing ground for the capitalist machine, as is also demonstrated by the “business committee” profile adopted by the so-called Board of Peace, which includes numerous figures from the world of business and finance, such as the Israeli billionaire Yakir Gabay, who has built a property empire in Germany, and Marc Rowan, a wealthy investor and CEO of Apollo Global Management, who aspire to transform the Strip into a “Mediterranean Riviera” complete with hotels and artificial islands.
