Ad aprile Donald Trump ha espresso a gran voce un pubblico disappunto nei confronti di Giorgia Meloni, colpevole di non aver continuato ad essere perfettamente in linea con le idee del Presidente statunitense. Si è definito “scioccato” dal suo comportamento in an interview given to the Corriere della Sera.

Le dinamiche comunicative e le parole scelte per farlo sarebbero state diverse.

The pyramid on violence against women and gender helps to understand that the intersection of sex, gender, and power is at the root of multiple structural problems in society. It doesn't matter how much Trump owes Meloni for her support. International in the past, for the alliance despite the violation of international law in many episodes: it is no longer useful, therefore it must not only be removed but annulled, as if nothing had happened before that action.
Questo episodio di geopolitica sottolinea nuovamente il mancato raggiungimento della Gender equality nelle dinamiche di potere, nelle relazioni sociali e ben oltre. Quella di Meloni potrebbe essere una semplice strategia per allontanarsi momentaneamente da un presidente indifendibile, ma è la risposta di Trump che suscita interesse, ai fini delle dinamiche di genere annesse.

Under the current social structure, shaped by patriarchal dynamics, one remains at the top only if one is in line with the pack; and, as far as the pack is concerned, women can be leaders only if they fall into line “unconditionally”, at the expense of their own careers, their own ideas and their own agenda.
Women at the top, men in charge
Con una donna al vertice si dà immediatamente l’idea di aver rotto il soffitto di cristallo, quindi si comunica al di fuori che si tratta di un ambiente inclusivo e aperto al cambiamento. In realtà non è cambiato niente: donna al vertice, uomini al comando.

The global right is crumbling; there are clear signs of this: Trump is unpopular with 63% of American men and women, according to a CNN poll; but apart from the collapse, the structure needs to be completely rethought; it is not enough to “a random woman” To achieve gender equality at the top, we need a complete overhaul of the status quo che parta dal basso, che ascolti le necessità delle persone; e per persone intendo tutte, non solo quelle prese a modello da sempre: maschio, bianco, cis, occidentale, abile, con passaporto potente. C’è necessità di scardinatrici, non allineate col sistema, ma pronte a ripensare la struttura come il femminismo sostiene da sempre, con sorellanza inclusa. C’è bisogno di “vigili guastafeste”, che non seguano questa struttura nata su modelli maschili bensì la ripensino, to quote Sarah Ahmed and her killjoy feminists. It's the only way to improve.
