Not only sordid details regarding and other heinous crimes committed against largely underage girls who were tortured, raped, and exploited due to their vulnerability and poverty. From the Epstein Files, the three million documents released by the US Department of Justice concerning the events related to Jeffrey Epstein, a figure at the centre of an intricate web of personal and business connections with some of the most prominent figures in global politics and economics – among others, as is well known, Donald Trump, , , Tony Blair, the Princess of Norway Mette-Marit, the powerful techno-capitalists , Bill Gates, Larry Page, Jeff Bezos and Peter Thiel – one element emerges which seems to be systematically ignored by the media in our country: the links between the well-known financier, who died by suicide in prison, and the State of Israel.

Who was Epstein

Born in 1953 in the Brooklyn district of New York City to Jewish parents, Jeffrey Epstein began his career as a physics and maths teacher before moving into the world of finance, initially working for the investment bank Bear Stearns, and finally, after various rather controversial consultancy activities, managing the wealth of Les Wexner, an American entrepreneur who led, among others, brands like Abercrombie & Fitch and Victoria's Secret, and of Leon Black, a private equity investor.

Once immense wealth had been acquired, the man used his resources to influence youth and charitable organisations, mainly aimed at economically vulnerable, to facilitate the recruitment of those who would become the designated victims of shocking sexual abuse. But in this affair of sexual exploitation and blackmail-based logic, with the powerful engine of financial capitalism sealing and protecting the existence of a sordid global power system, ... the close ties between the financier and Tel Aviv also emerge.

The links between the financier and Tel Aviv

Branko Marcetic wrote for the US edition of Jacobin that, according to some sources, Epstein was an Israeli intelligence asset. In particular, Trump's relationship with Epstein would have been exploited by Israel to increase their diplomatic weight and influence US policy. So much so that Marcetic wrote that, based on this, it would explain «the embarrassing subservience that Trump has shown towards Netanyahu and Israel in the last year». But the ties between the man and Israel evidenced by the so-called Epstein files are not limited to these behind-the-scenes details. Indeed, they have manifested on multiple fronts and have contributed to strengthening the Jewish State diplomatically and economically at the expense of Palestinian claims.

The role in promoting relations between Indian, Israeli and US leaders

«Hello. I was in Delhi. Management would like your help to meet Jared and Bannon as soon as possible.» This message was written to Jeffrey Epstein by Anil Ambani, an Indian billionaire with significant business interests in Israel and close ties to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It is the US press agency Drop Site News to reveal the role played by the financier as an intermediary between the – and in particular the former Israeli Prime Minister who had decade-long ties with Epstein – and the Indian one, as part of a strategy aimed at cultivating close ties with the leaders of the world's most populous nation.

In July 2017, Modi became the first Indian head of government to make an official visit to Israel, a move that marked a decisive break from decades of foreign policy characterised by detached relations with Tel Aviv, out of respect for Arab states and the Palestinian cause.

During the diplomatic mission, the two countries signed a series of trade agreements in sectors such as technology, aerospace, energy and agriculture, and also agreed to «focus on the joint development of defence products, including the transfer of technology from Israel».

In 2017, India was identified as the largest purchaser of Israeli weapons, having bought military supplies worth $715 million, according to the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute. In the years that followed, with the consolidation of power of the BJP – the political party to which Prime Minister Modi belongs – the Asian giant's relations with Israel were further strengthened thanks to defence collaboration and ever-closer diplomatic alignment.

In response to the circulation of an email from Epstein, in which the latter celebrated Modi having «danced and sung in Israel for the good of the President of the United States,» the Indian Ministry of External Affairs issued a statement reading: «Beyond the official visit of the Prime Minister to Israel in July 2017, the remaining allusions contained in the email are little more than the inane reflections of a convicted criminal, which deserve to be rejected with the utmost contempt,» without however releasing any statement on the fact that certain individuals in Modi's orbit had long-standing contacts with Epstein, as a trusted intermediary, on a wide range of diplomatic and economic matters.

Epstein and the genesis of the Israeli-Emirati partnership

From the tranche of investigative documents, it emerges that Epstein also served as an important diplomatic bridge in relations between Israel and the United Arab Emirates, thanks to his close relationship with Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, the powerful head of the Dubai Ports World financial empire and an individual closely linked to the ruling families of the small Gulf state, and thanks to meetings between the latter and Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak, which were orchestrated by Epstein.

There are well-founded elements – also confirmed by an FBI memo, declassified in 2020 and published in recent days – to believe that the paedophile financier was connected to (The Israeli secret services) and that in this capacity he laid the groundwork for a strategic partnership between the Jewish State and the Gulf country – an alliance that is now reshaping the region – and played a decisive role in the negotiations that preceded the signing of the Abraham Accords, a series of trade agreements between Tel Aviv and some Arab countries, considered the decisive key to normalising their diplomatic relations and a definitive death blow to Palestinian aspirations for freedom.

Among the information gathered by Drop Site News on this matter, There are those concerning Epstein's role in Israel's strategic pivot – which took place last December – regarding the recognition of Somaliland, a move aimed at strengthening Abu Dhabi's logistics hub in Berbera, a strategically located port city in the Gulf of Aden, where Israel is already building a military base to protect its maritime interests in the Red Sea from attacks by Houthi government missiles from Yemen.

Following the Accords, bilateral trade between Tel Aviv and Abu Dhabi surpassed one billion dollars within a year, customs duties were eliminated, and Emirati investment funds heavily backed Israeli companies in artificial intelligence, biotechnology, and defence.

As Drop Site News further reports, «the relationship between Israel and the UAE has deepened further in the years since, despite the Israeli genocide in". which has sparked global outrage. In December 2025, the UAE signed a $2.3 billion defence deal with Elbit Systems, one of the largest arms sales in Israel's history.

Although Epstein did not live long enough to see these agreements materialise, the private channels he helped to cultivate between Emirati and Israeli elites were instrumental in making them possible. Today, those same networks converge around support for Somaliland, with Epstein's old friend, Sultan Sulayem, among its staunchest Emirati backers.

Intermediary in the mega gas deal with Egypt

Jeffrey Epstein played a behind-the-scenes but structural role in the development of the Israeli Leviathan gas field, acting for over a decade as an informal facilitator between Israeli politics, international financial actors, and global energy interests. Working closely with former Prime Minister Ehud Barak, Epstein assisted him in seeking foreign investors and industrial partners, providing analysis, contacts, and strategic guidance while the project was stalled by antitrust controversies, regulatory uncertainties, and geopolitical tensions.

Emails and court documents show that Epstein maintained direct relationships with the top brass at JPMorgan and other major financial institutions, and helped facilitate high-level meetings with political leaders, including a discussion with Benjamin Netanyahu in March 2011, which coincided with a key Knesset vote on gas taxation. His involvement also extended to attempts to engage foreign actors – European, Russian, Asian, and Middle Eastern – to make Leviathan financiable and politically sustainable.

Epstein, Palantir and the Israeli war machine

Finally, Epstein helped to bolster the Israeli architecture of control and annihilation by advising Barak to «consider Palantir,» a company that was at the time establishing itself as a powerful player in data analysis, surveillance, and intelligence software. Palantir Technologies, the giant founded by the “libertarian” with anarcho-capitalist leanings Peter Thiel, Silicon Valley's most well-known venture capitalist, who is very close to US Vice President JD Vance, has, since October 2023, intensified a declaredly ideological collaboration with the Israeli government and armed forces, promoting its artificial intelligence-based technology as an essential tool for modern warfare. In January 2024, the company announced a strategic agreement with the Israeli Ministry of Defence. to support operations conducted against the Gaza Strip.
